New projected sales show Eminem's Recovery album en route to sell up to 750,000 copies in its first-week in stores.

Additional reports show Drake's Thank Me Later easily earning a Top 3 spot in its second-week.

    Shady's back, all right. Eminem's sales continue to grow, and in our latest upward revision this morning, we're now calling the Recovery number 700-750k. That means the album isn't just a lock to top the first week of his previous release, Relapse, it's on track to be the biggest debut since AC/DC's Black Ice bowed with 784k back in 2008. With the weekend ahead, it's now just a question of how high it can go. Em's new album is expected to become the biggest music debut of 2010.

    Offering conclusive proof that Marshall still matters, Eminem's aptly named Recovery will score the year's highest sales debut. Look for a total of between 590-615k for the Shady/Aftermath/Interscope album, easily beating Sade's 503k back in February. It could also beat his last album, Relapse, which sold 608k in its first week in May '09. (Hits Daily Double)

Earlier this month, Fat Joe gave his opinion of Em's latest effort.

    "That sh*t's crazy," Joe said in an interview. "That sh*t with him and [Lil] Wayne, [track] number two ['Talkin' 2 Myself']. All that sh*t, man. That n*gga spittin'. Hard...I thought I wasn't gonna like it, cause n*ggas was sayin', Yo, it's rock, and this and that,' but that sh*t was hard. I was expecting just more regular hip-hop type sh*t. You know what I'm sayin'? It was more like Just Blaze-[produced] rock sh*t...I like that sh*t. A lot. I can't lie to you...I think he's back to where he once was...For real. Recently, Em talked about not worrying about first-week sales.

    "I don't think I've actually stopped to think about it," Eminem said referencing being named artist of the decade. "I never thought that my life would amount to this. But to be able to sit back and digest it is so strange to me, because I still feel so regular. I don't understand what people think the big deal is about me. It's a very strange relationship that I have with fame...Honestly, as long as people enjoy the music, that means the most to me. I could sell 80 million records in the first week, and if my peers or fans of real hip-hop didn't like it, it really wouldn't mean anything." (Rap Radar)
